Do You Have Questions for Vista Pro? Here Are Some FAQs
Q: How do I contact a Vista Pro representative?
Q: What is Vista Pro's service area?
A: We work with homeowners in the metro Los Angeles area, including Ventura and Orange Counties. We’ll travel about 50-60 miles outside of central LA. This includes Pacific Palisades, Calabassas, and Thousand Oaks to the West; Burbank, Glendale, and Pasadena in the North; and Long Beach, Costa Mesa, and Anaheim to the East (and South). Within Los Angeles itself, we serve Santa Monica, Manhattan Beach, Beverly Hills, Hollywood Hills, and West Hollywood, and everything in between. Contact us if you have questions.
Q: Will I need a permit for my home improvement project?
A: You may need a permit for certain projects, but don’t worry—Vista Pro will take on this responsibility for you. Let us handle this administrative burden. We know who to contact and the right forms to complete!
Q: Are there jobs that you won't want to consider?
A: Vista Pro is a general contractor with tremendous experience in all types of home improvement jobs. You may think a project is too small for us, but please contact us and ask. You may be surprised at our response!
On the other hand, there are almost no residential home improvement jobs that are too big for us! We’ve done it all. Either way, we’d be happy to discuss your specific project.
Q: You say that Vista Pro is a fully licensed contractor. What does that actually mean?
A: To become a licensed contractor in the State of California, you must attend a series of very tough courses and pass numerous extraordinary exams. You need to be able to answer correctly perhaps 8,000 questions!
The licensing process is run by the Contractors State Licensing Board, and it is an expensive, time-consuming process. School and licensing fees run about $2,000.
You should only consider fully licensed and fully insured contractors for any work around your home.
